Water Colors!

Mallory enjoyed painting with her water colors for the first time! She made some amazing artwork:) It was fun & quite messy! Luckily, they are washable.
We'll do it again soon!

7 Random Things about Me!

- I love ranch dressing! I eat it with just about anything....pizza, spaghetti, Mexican food, etc.
- I have to have Blistex on my lips and eye drops in my eyes before I can go to sleep at night.
-I am super organized. Some might say I'm little OCD. Everything in my house has a place and everything is very, very organized! My closet, Mallory's closet & toys, even my junk drawer. And my DVDs are in alphabetical order. Even when I'm not trying to be organized, everything ends up that way....I automatically make it organized.
My organization habits lead me to be very routine! I have a routine for everything!
-I love to wear flip flops. I wear them all the time. I go as long as possible in the winter months until it just gets too dang cold.
-When I'm nervous, I bite my cuticals around my thumbs. You can always tell when I'm nervous or upset b/c you can look at my thumbs to see if they are red & bloody.
-I constantly play with my diamond necklace. Kevin gave it to me a couple of years ago at Christmas. I wear it everyday, all day. One day I didn't have it on and I kept reaching for it...it was then I realized how much I actually do it. My friends have noticed too.
-I keep a book about Mallory. Every night since she was born, I have written in her book. I write the date and what she did that day...sometimes it is major & sometimes it is something simple. I hope to continue to so as long as possible. I do the same type thing for me. Every night, I write in my date book. It is like my journal.

Here are my 7 random things! I tag Meaghan, Lisa, Becky, Lindsey, & Stormy!

Fall Fun!

The weather has been beautiful lately so we've been spending alot of time outside. I love the sun so it is has been nice to be able to be outside and not die of heat. El Paso summers can be pretty brutal. So now that fall is here, we can spend more time in the sun without dying. We have been going to the park more and enjoying our backyard!

On Sunday, the 3 of us enjoyed some family fun outside after dinner...which is our new routine! Mallory loves to run and play! It was a nice chilly evening after a day of rainy weather!
Notice the flip flops! Mallory loves to wear flip flops. She definitely gets that from me. I would wear them year around if I could...actually I sometimes do! She has 2 pair that she loves along with wearing mine & Kevin's. She would wear flip flops everyday with every outfit if I would let her.
In the last picture, she was doing her "guns up" for Texas Tech! We have trained her well:)

Birthday Party!

Last Saturday we got to go to our friend Charlotte's 2nd birthday party. It was so much fun. Mallory had a blast! They had a bouncy house, cupcakes, games, and more! Mallory was unsure of the bouncy house at first but then she couldn't get enough of it! It was a great time for both the kids & the adults! I have to admit, I enjoyed the bouncy house too!

Fruit Loop Necklaces

Here are some pictures of our Fruit Loop necklace making experience. She would help me loop them through then eat a few. She did enjoy being able to have a nice little snack around her neck for a brief period of time then she was ready to have it off! (I've been wanting to make a Cheerio necklace with Mal for a while, I decided on Fruit Loops after reading my friend Lindsey's blog). They were alot more fun!

So onto the next project. I did make some matching picture cards on the computer. We are working on matching 2 of the same pictures together which she is very good at. Hopefully soon we'll be able to play the game Memory.

We're having so much fun together doing these things and learning while we do it. Mallory is getting so big! I love watching her learn & grow!

More of Elmo & Nummy

Here are some more pics of our craft time. She had to give them both kisses then we hung them proudly on the refrigerator!
