After posting the last entry, I decided to look for some pics of the girls. Here are some pictures of the girls when they were just babies. I have more but I don't have them on my computer anymore. The third precious sweetie is Charlotte. Charlotte is 2 months older than Mallory and 1 month older than Mattox. These 3 have, like I said, grown up together since they were 2, 3, & 4 months old. Luckily, we haven't had to say good-bye to our wonderful friends Lee, Andy, & Charlotte! |
Our dear & sweet friends Julia, Jeremy, & Mattox just moved from El Paso. We met when our girls were 2 and 3 months old. (The girls are exactly a month apart). So basically, Mallory & Mattox have grown up together. We are going to miss them terribly but we already have trips planned to go see them and for them to come here. They had to stay with us a couple of weeks after they rented out there house so we had so much fun. The girls had a blast hanging out together. And the adults enjoyed lots of great conversation, laughs, and a few Blizzards!
While my mom was here Kevin & I were able to go out to dinner with our wonderful friends, Mark & Sandy. Mallory & Oma got to hang out and have some major bonding time. Thanks Oma!! We of course had to do some coloring before we left! The next day Kevin watched Mal while Mom & I enjoyed a day out at the movies. Then the 4 of enjoyed dinner out! It was a great weekend all together! |
Mallory LOVES music & she LOVES to dance. She has can move those little hips & arms and can groove to anything that has a beat. She likes to get the Ipod out and listen to music & of course she moves & grooves while she is listening. She gets her love of music from Daddy & her love of dance from Mommy! |
My mom came in on August 4th and just left on Thursday, August 14th. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed ourselves immensley. My mom & I are very close so we enjoy the time we get to spend together. And of course, she LOVES playing with, watching, hanging out, coloring, etc. with Mallory. And Mallory loves her Oma...or Moma has she calls her. She had a blast playing with her Oma. It is always so great to have Oma here and of course we get spoiled while she is here. We wish my Dad could have been here but he is hard at work so we can be spoiled:):) Here a few pics, I still have more to upload onto my computer. The last picture is Mallory cracking up at Oma. Last weekend we were able to meet up with some great friends in Ruidoso, New Mexico. We met with up with Jeff & Barri and Scott & Erin. We have known Jeff & Scott for many years and it was great to catch up with them and get to know their sweet wives even more! We have been going to Jeff's grandparent's cabin for years and it was so fun to have a chance to get away & catch up with some very special friends. This was Mallory's first time at the cabin. She enjoyed it and did a great job throughout the weekend.
