22 Months!

Mallory is now 22 months old as of September 21st. She is getting so big & talking much more. Each day she has a new word or phrase. She loves to play, talk, dance, listen to music, read, sing, watch Sesame Street & the list goes on! She is so precious, words can't describe!
The first picture is of her looking at the fish at the Embassy Suites. She was obsessed with the "pish" , as she calls them, the whole weekend.

We are Family!

Family Time

The best part about the weekend was being able to spend time with Sis, Joel, Jacy, & Britton. As I've mentioned before, Mallory absolutely loves her cousins! She asked for Jacy (she can't say Britton yet) all the way to Lubbock. We had a short time together each day but each time was extra special. The kiddos love playing together. Sis & I love to watch our babies love on eachother and play together. We love them all so very much and we wish we lived closer so we could do this everyday!

And More!

More Tech Game Pictures

We took a ton of pictures at the game so here are some more!

Texas Tech Football

On Saturday evening we took Mallory to her 2nd Texas Tech football game. We took her to one last year too. This year she was much more involved. At first, she wasn't too sure of the loud music & the band playing before the game started. She kept saying "all done" & "bye bye" but after everything settled down and the game started, she absolutely loved it. We had already taught her "guns up" so she put that to good use. And the week before we taught her the sign for touchdown and she did her hands like a crab for the player, Crabtree So she was able to do all of those things. It was absolutely adorable. She, of course, loved the horse & kept asking to see it more. Luckily, we scored alot of touchdowns so we were able to see the horse quite often but it was on the other side. She still enjoyed it though. (FYI, our masked rider rides our black horse down the sidelines after we score). She had fun and enjoyed all the junk food too. Kevin & I really enjoyed watching our baby girl enjoy her time at the game. It was way too cute! Sis & Joel have season tickets with us so they were there with us but they were kid free. Mallory enjoyed her special time with Aunt Sis & Uncle Joel too! It was a great time & we got some great pics too!

Family Pictures!

Here are some pics I took while we were with my roomies!

#1 Lisa, Brad, & Claire~ I've known Lisa since our first month at Texas Tech in 1997. A mutual friend introduced us! We didn't separate after that. We (Lisa, Lauren, & I) were roomies in an apartment for 2 years. I've known Brad almost as long as I've know Lisa. He put up with us girls until we found men of our own! Thanks, Brad! And sweet baby Claire! Just met her and want to see her again soon!

#2 Lauren & Stephen~ I met Lauren because she lived on the the floor below me in Chitwood Hall. We were instant friends! I've only known Stephen for a few years but he is super sweet and funny!

#3 Lauren & Len~ Ok, so that's not Len in the picture, it is her sweet brother, Neil. Len was hunting so Lauren brought Neil & her sweet mother Sandra to our reunion. I met Lauren in Psychology class our first semester of our freshman year. She was from Coleman & I was from Brownwood...30 miles apart. We had an instant connection and instant friendship. We (Lisa, Lauren, & I) were roomies for 2 years. Len is a sweety and we missed seeing him. I got to meet Len a couple of years down the road when they started dating. It was so fun to see Sandra & Neil. I've known them as long as I've know Lauren! Sweet family!

#4 Kevin, Meredith, & Mallory~ Of course, my sweet family! Kevin & I met in 2000 at Texas Tech. Kevin & I met through friends & church. He is so amazing! We were friends for a year and began dating in March of 2001. We were married in 2002 and had our precious angel, Mallory in 2006! Mallory is a joy and makes us smile everyday!

That sums it up!

Roomie Reunion

On Saturday, we were able to meet up with my roomies & friends from college! It was so great to see them all along with their beautiful families. We had such a great time talking and reminiscing. It is hard to believe I've known these girls for 11 years. Time has flown by. We have a ton of memories and it was fun to sit back and remember them all. We were only able to be together for a couple of hours & it just wasn't long enough!

We also got to meet Claire, which is Brad & Lisa's daughter. She is so precious and Mallory absolutely loved the "baby". We of course had to take pictures of them in their matching cheerleading outfits! I see future roomies!!
We of course had to take one sassy picture! Fun times!

Grandma & Grandpa G

Last weekend, we took a trip to Lubbock for a Texas Tech football game. On the way, we got to stop in Hobbs to visit Kevin's parents, Grandma & Grandpa G. Mallory enjoyed seeing them along with their puppies (actually they are grown dogs but every dog is a puppy to Mallory). She enjoys looking at the puppies not touching!

So it was great to see them and spend some time there! Mallory, of course, walked away with a ton of stickers because Grandma G knows she is a sticker-holic.

Hallelujah!!!

I got it all back! Thank you sooooo very much Lindsey! I followed all the steps on the website you sent me and it all came back! You are so awesome!

I will continue to post very soon! I have some fun Tech game pics on the way!

HELP!!!

I posted yesterday that I deleted everything. I know my posts are still there but anything else I had added is gone. Well now it won't let me add anything or change anything. It will let me "post" but that is it. It will not let me edit my layout, add links, etc. It is saying I need to "upgrade my template" but I can't figure how to do that. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm so frustrated, I could scream!!! UGGHH!

Our Little Reader!

I have read to Mallory since the day she was born and I assume that has helped her love of reading. She loves for us to read her books and now she loves to read to herself. She'll grab a stack of books from her bookshelf and bring them to the chair. She'll just sit and read through each book. Sometimes it is gibberish but sometimes you'll here her say words b/c she remembers the story or can name the pictures.

Such precious moments!!
